TO PROLONG THE LIFE OF YOUR CONCRETE FURNITURE

To reduce the occurrence of stains and crazing we recommend sealing your new concrete furniture as soon as it is received, using the Guardsman Stone Seal & Protect Spray Bottle, available to purchase from Coastal Style NZ. We do not recommend sealing your concrete furniture with polyurethane products.

Depending on usage and environmental conditions your concrete furniture (indoor and outdoor) should be re-sealed at least every 6 months.


WE ALSO RECOMMEND

Do not use any abrasive materials or cleaning products with solvents, to clean your concrete surfaces use a damp cloth or soft sponge.

Do not use high-pressure powered pressure washers, for most applications a garden nozzle will be enough pressure to clean the furniture of any mould and mildew.

Always clean up food and beverage spills as soon as possible, using mild soapy water and a soft cloth.

Your concrete or stone furniture can also be cleaned using Guardsman Stone Daily Cleaner which can be purchased directly from Coastal Style NZ.

Do not drag furniture as this could cause irreparable damage to the table, instead lift into position using as many people as required for the weight.

We aim to have this item shipped out within 2 to 6 business days.  Delivery is estimated at 2 to 7 business days after the item is despatched, depending on your location, however can take longer.

Furniture and other large items are delivered by freight carriers to your front door or garage. Smaller items are delivered by courier to your door or letterbox.

Wood & Rattan Products

Knots, slight cracking, blemishes, small dents and minor colour variations are inherent characteristics of wood and rattan products.  These irregularities do not impact the structural integrity of our products, and are not considered defects.  Minor variations should be expected, and are part of the natural character and allure of wood and rattan products.

Concrete Products

As concrete furniture and other items made of concrete utilise natural materials, small cracks, chips and blemishes may develop as the product weathers. These do not affect the strength of the piece and add to its character. They are not considered defects.

Metal Products (Iron, Brass, Steel etc.)

Our metal products may have minor surface irregularities which do not impact their structural integrity, and are not considered defects. Instead they add to the uniqueness and character of each piece.

Marble Products

Some natural imperfections occur in this natural material, and each piece is different. Being a natural material, it will change in appearance with time and use. It is porous and care must be taken, especially with acidic spills. Marble will develop its own patina over time depending on the level of care you give it. Imperfections at any stage are not considered defects.

Leather Products

Leather is a natural product and will always have individual markings and variations between pieces, simply as a result of life led by the animal. These natural markings are not considered defects but are inherent to the character and uniqueness of genuine leather products.

Slip-Covers

Cleaning by a professional reputable dry-cleaning company is recommended.

We cannot guarantee that samples provided or products seen elsewhere will be exactly the same colour or texture as the product you receive, so they should be used to get a general idea only and not on the expectation of a direct match.
